1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Weather Studio (the "Service"), operated by Weather Studio. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the Service does

Weather Studio shows weather forecasts, weather alerts, moon phases, lightning information, earthquake information and weather maps for locations around the world. The information comes from third-party providers listed in our Privacy Policy and is provided for general information only.

3. Not for safety-critical decisions

Weather, lightning, earthquake and alert information can be late, incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on Weather Studio to protect life or property, for aviation, marine or other professional navigation, or in an emergency. Always follow official warnings from your national weather and emergency services. Tools such as the Flash-to-Bang calculator, the Active storms list and the automatic forecast-based alerts are for interest and general guidance only and are not official warnings or safety systems.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or to harm others;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its servers;
• scrape or copy data from the Service at a rate or volume that affects other users, or resell the data;
• try to access the admin area without permission.

5. Third-party data and content

Data, maps and embedded content are supplied by third parties (for example Open-Meteo, MET Norway, the Met Office, RainViewer, NASA, USGS, Blitzortung.org, OpenStreetMap contributors and Windy). Their own terms and licences apply to that content, and attribution is shown on the site. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.

6. Intellectual property

The design, layout and code of the Service belong to Weather Studio or its licensors. Third-party data remains the property of its owners and is used under their terms. You may share links to the Service, including location links such as @London-UK.

7. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, for example for maintenance or if a data provider stops working, without liability to you.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Weather Studio is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or from reliance on the information it provides.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of United Kingdom, and the courts of United Kingdom have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
